Addison is about ten minutes up the Tollway from our shop. It is also the densest concentration of restaurants and events in our catchment, and that shapes what we print for it.

A town that runs on restaurants and events

Addison has an unusual business mix for its size — a very high restaurant count for the population, a conference and events calendar that runs most of the year, and a corridor of offices and light industry around the airport.

Restaurants and bars need print that changes: seasonal menus, drinks lists, patio and sidewalk signage, table tents for specials. The mistake we see most is ordering a year of menus at once, then crossing items out in pen by March. Short runs printed more often cost less over a year and never look tired.

The events side wants something different again — banners, directional signage, tickets, badges and backdrops, usually against a fixed date that cannot move.

Working to an event date

Most Addison work that goes wrong goes wrong on timing, not on print. Same-day and two-day production exist on a lot of what we make, but they have to be chosen at the point of ordering rather than requested afterwards. If you have a date, lead with it and we will work backwards from it.
